Mechanism amp; Construction

VT027 VIBRATION MECHANISM

VT027 employees a planar four-bar linkage system to transfer motor rotation to pivotal oscillation movement. The movement similar to a seesaw movement, but in a much fast pace.

The vibration frequency is controlled by adjusting the voltage of the DC motor to change the motor speed.

CONSTRUCTION amp; MATERIALS

The skeletal structure of VT027 is consist of an upper frame and a base frame both made of welded thick steel structure. A planar four-bar linkage device that creates the designed pivotal oscillation movement is mounted between the upper frame and base frame. The solidity structure assures the stability and avoids parts friction and therefore eliminate the mechanical noise. The upper platform and base cover are ABS plastic model injection parts that screwed on the steel structure.

The core movement assembly, the planar four-bar linkage device, is mainly made of steel and aluminum.

A pair of detachable push-up bars are conveniently stored in their compartments at the back side of the machine. When needed they can be easily taken out and plugged in the holes with pop-down caps in the upper platform, to form four push-up positions.

The upper plate is coated with a thick elastic paint, long lasting and comfort to touch.

Coupler bar is the most stressed moving part of a planar four-bar linkage device which transfer motor rotation to pivotal oscillation movement. Most manufacturers adopt a nylon bar laminated with metal sheets on the two sides. This sandwich structure coupler bar utilizes nylon material's tolerance to certain degree deformation, and metal sheets to compensate nylons' lack of strength. Such a design lowers the requirements for parts and assembly precision, and therefore lowers the manufacturing cost. However the device durability is compromised because the nylon bar can easily reach material fatigue in the high stress movement and deformation, and fail the four-bar linkage device.

Our patented twin-coupler design is an optimized solution for a high performance and durable planar four-bar linkage device. The two coupler bars allow the pulling and pushing force well balanced and distributed, which reduce the stress. The aluminum couplers further enhances the performance and increase the durability.

Besides the benefits on performance and durability, the twin-coupler design also shortened the device height, making VT027 the thinnest (4.5 inches height) vibration plate in the market.
